- Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines is on 7th number in this list. This airline has more than 800 mainline aircraft in its fleet and is the second largest carrier in the world. It has no fatal accident in more than two decades. In April 2016, this Atlanta-based airline announced orders for 75 Bombardier CS100 airliners and 37 new Airbus A321ceo airliners.
Cathay Pacific always appears on top 20 safest airlines list and this time it has grabbed position number 6. It is crowned as best long-haul airline in Asia-Pacific region. Apart from outstanding service, the airline is as competent in safety terms and has not suffered fatal accident since 1960.
This UK flag carrier was missing from list but has impressed the AirlineRatings.com with its performance in 12 months. However, this airline has not faced any fatal accident in three decades.
- All Nippon Airways (ANA)
Founded in 1954, All Nippon Airways is Japan’s largest airline and is well known for its high-quality service. Last year, this airline was ranked at sixth position as best airlines in the world list. This Japan flag carrier has not faced fatal crash in more than 45 years.
This Seattle based airline ranks third in safest airline list. It rates higher in safety as well as other facilities such as WiFi onboard. The airline has not suffered from any accident since 2000.
- Air New Zealand
The Kiwi flag carrier ranks second in world’s safest airlines list. It was praised for its exceptional performance after period of financial turmoil in early 2000s. Air New Zealand has not suffered any incident in past decades.
Qantas is crowned as safest airline in the world for the third year in a row. This 96 year old airline has extraordinary record with no fatalities since 1951.
