Copa Airlines started with three domestic flights in Panama, and today the airline flies to about 75 destinations in 30 countries in South, Central and North America, as well as the Caribbean. In 2013, as part of environmental strategy, the airlines used APB winglet technology to save more than $21 million in jet fuel costs and more than 63,000 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) outputs per year. Moving further, in April 2014, Copa Airlines was titled as the first airline in Latin America and the third in the world to implement the Split Scimitar Winglets on its Boeing 737 NG fleet.
With main hub at Tocumen International Airport (PTY), Copa Airlines flights operate more than 315 daily scheduled flights. The airline's fleet of 84 aircraft consists of 14 Boeing 737-700s, 63 Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737 MAX and 23 Embraer 190 planes. Each of the aircraft is configured with a Business Class and Economy Class cabin.

Carry- On allowance
Passengers can take 1 piece of carry-on luggage and personal item which must fit in overhead bin or under seat in front of passenger.
Any piece that exceeds 100 lb should be sent by cargo.
Each piece should be 157 cm (62 inches) in total linear (height + length + width).
Pieces with combined linear measurements between 159 cm (63 inches) and 272 cm (107 inches) will be considered as excess baggage.
Pieces which exceed 272 cm (107 inches) as combined linear measurements will not be accepted as baggage and must be transported in cargo concept.
Copa Airlines permits passengers to take hand baggage as given below:
Business Class and Main Cabin: 1 piece of hand bag with 46 linear inches (115 cm) length + width + height and weight should be (or less than) 10 kg (22 lb)
Executive class: 2 hand bags are allowed with 46 linear inches (115 cm) length + width + height each and weight should be (or less than) 10 kg (22 lb)
Passengers are allowed to take sports equipments including golf, ski, diving, fishing and musical instruments as well. From these equipments some are considered as checked baggage and if there’s corresponding excess baggage, charges will apply.

Unaccompanied Minors service by Copa Airlines ensures that your minor is in safe hands from the moment he/she arrives at the counter of airport until received at final destination.
To get unaccompanied minor service, the responsible adult must submit the request at least 48 hours before travel or at the time of the reservation. The payment of the unaccompanied minor service can be made 48 hours before the departure of the flight.
Children between 5-7 years are considered as unaccompanied minors and are eligible to use unaccompanied minor service.
