China Eastern major hubs are at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, and secondary hubs at Beijing Capital International Airport, Kunming Changshui International Airport and Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. China Eastern Airlines Baggage Allowance
1. Checked Baggage
Each checked Baggage should not exceed 32kg in weight and the three dimensions shall not exceed 40cm, 60cm and 100cm.
2. Unchecked Baggage
Each First Class Passenger is allowed to carry on 2-pieces of Unchecked Baggage; each Business Class or Economy Class passenger can carry on up to 1-piece of Unchecked Baggage.
Each Unchecked Baggage should not exceed 10kg in weight and the three dimensions shall not exceed 25cm, 45cm and 56cm respectively.
Unchecked Baggage should be placed under the seat in front of the passenger or in an enclosed storage compartment in the cabin.
The Unchecked Baggage which exceeds the allowance of weight, amount, or size shall be checked as Checked Baggage.
3. Free Baggage Allowance
Free Baggage Allowance is applicable on both Checked Baggage and Unchecked Baggage. The Free Baggage Allowance for an adult or a child in:
First Class or Business class is 2-pieces, sum of three dimensions should not exceed 158cm for each piece and weight of each piece should not exceed 32kg
Economy Class is 2-pieces, sum of three dimensions should not exceed 158cm for each piece and weight of each piece should not exceed 23kg
The Free Baggage Allowance for infant is 1-piece for which the sum of the three dimensions must not to exceed 115cm, and the weight must not exceed 23 kg, plus 1-checked stroller free of charge.
4. Excess Baggage Charge
Passengers have to pay for excess baggage. In excess baggage case, an excess baggage ticket will be issued to the passenger. The fees charge will be based on:
Weight concept: Every kilogram in excess will be charged on the basis of 1.5% of the Ticket fare applicable to the adult in the Economy Class of one-way direct flight.
Piece concept: Excess baggage charge rate will be calculated on the applicable fixed charge rate published in the Passenger Air Tariff (PAT) of International Air Transport Association (IATA).
These charges will be received in the currency of the local country or region.

Parents or guardians of unaccompanied children must undergo the carriage procedure in place of said minors.
If the receiving party does not meet the unaccompanied minor on time, this party must incur all resulting additional fees.
