Air Europa Airlines Route Map
Air Europa was founded by the International Leisure Group as charter airline in June 1986. Operations started in November 1986, linking the Canary Islands with London using Boeing 737-300 equipment.
In 1993, Air Europa became the first privately owned Spanish carrier in operating domestic scheduled services; international scheduled services started in 1995. By March 2000, the airline operated international scheduled services to Havana, London, Milan, New York City, Paris, Porto, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and Santo Domingo; the list of domestic destinations comprised of Alicante, Asturias, Badajoz, Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada, Ibiza, Jerez de la Frontera, La Coruna, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Madrid, Malaga, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca, Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Tenerife, Valencia, Valladolid and Zaragoza.
Air Europa Airlines Baggage Allowance
1) Carry-on Baggage:
All hand baggage cannot exceed 22 x 14 x 10 in (55 x 35 x 25 cm)
Business Class: Domestic, Canary Islands, Europe, Africa and Middle East: 1 piece (14 kg) and Long distance: 2 pieces (18 kg) Economy Class: 1 piece (10 kg)
Passengers can also bring the following items free of charge: Handbag, Purse, Overcoat, Umbrella, Camera, Laptop, or Wheelchair.
2) Checked Baggage:
Business Class: 2 pieces up to 51 lb (23 kg) each in general, 3 pieces up to 51 lb (23 kg) each for Dakar
Economy Class: 1 piece up to 51 lb (23 kg) in general, 2 pieces up to 51 lb (23 kg) each for Dakar except Almeria, Valencia, Asturias, and Malaga
Business Class: 3 pieces up to 51 lb (23 kg) each in general, 3 pieces up to 71 lb (32 kg) each for Brazil, 2 pieces up to 71 lb (32 kg) each for New York
Economy Class: 1 piece up to 51 lb (23 kg) in general, 2 pieces up to 71 lb (32 kg) each for Brazil, 2 pieces of to 51 lb (23 kg) for Bolivia, Caracas, and Lima- except Almeria, Valencia, Asturias, and Malaga
3) Excess Baggage:
Per piece/51 lb (23 kg) over allowance: $50 in advance or $60 at the airport
Additional luggage is not allowed on flights to Dakar
2nd piece/51 lb (23 kg) over allowance: $50 in advance or $60 at the airport
3rd piece/51 lb (23 kg) over allowance: $100 in advance or $150 at the airport
4) Sports Equipment
A variety of sporting equipment is allowed. Some may fall within existing baggage allowance while others can only count as excess baggage.
If you have more bags than the number allowed or your bags exceed the weight or linear restrictions, you will be charged additional fees.

Air Europa’s online Sky shop has a wide range of cosmetics, exciting jewellery, perfumes and trendy accessories. The items you order will be reserved for you. You pay for the items onboard.
Air Europa offers a range of national and international newspapers and a selection of magazines. Air Europa even provides a carefully-chosen selection of audio-visual entertainment to make your flight more enjoyable, including documentaries, music and movies. These are different on the outward and return journeys.
WiFi On Board
Air Europa provides the WiFi on board its long- haul fleet. By satellite connection, our passengers can now find all the information available on the network, access social networks, shop or check their email during the flight journey.
Air Europa provides unaccompanied minor service for children between 5 and 11 years (domestic flights) and between 5 and 14 years (international flights) who are traveling without an adult. Children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult. This service is not provided when stopover durations exceed 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Air Europa also provides a service called The Young People option for passengers between 12 and 17 years.

Direct flights to Europe/Canary Islands/Africa: €50 per direction
Direct long-haul flights: €70 per direction or €100 if the flight involves onward transfer
